Luftwaffe – book

Hi everyone,

A few years ago in the 70 /80´s I bought a book about the aircraft of the Luftwaffe during the Second World War which had cutaways of the aircraft and the cockpit lay-outs. Could some one please help me out with the name of the book and author (if possible a scan of the front cover) as I am trying to replace it as my copy was stolen a few years ago.

Thanks in advance for all you help in this matter.

The Eric Brown book contains cockpit drawings and cutaways of all of the following:
Fw 200C Kondor
Heinkel He 162
Junkers Ju 87
Dornier Do 217
Heinkel He 177
Messerschmitt Me 262
Dornier Do 335
Fw 190
Arado Ar 234B
Junkers ju 88
Fw 189
Heinkel He 111
Junkers Ju 52/3m
Heinkel He 219
Messerschmitt Bf 109G
Messerschmitt Bf 110
Messerschmitt Me 163

The William Green Warplanes of the Third Reich contains details of every plane flown by the luftwaffe, but has cutaways only of the more significant aircraft – but too many to list here – I would guess at 25 +

Could someone please list the cutaways and the cockpit lay-outs of the two books so that I can order it via the net as I do not have the luxury (local in Oporto, Portugal) to go down to my local second hand book shop to page the books be for I buy them.

The William green book is excellent but very expensive now. Here are a couple of photos of the Eric Brown book. it is the first edition hardback published in 1977

Luftwaffe

I don’t think this is the book your looking for as it doesn’t have any cutaways. However I’ve found it to be an excellent book filled with three views and colour profiles. It’s Warplanes of the Third Reich by William Green. ISBN- 0-88365-666-3 My copy was published by Galahad books.
