Lanzarote Museum

My apologies if this has been raised before but there is a pleasant museum in the old Art-Deco terminal building at Lanzarote Airport. There are no airframes but they do have some very interesting photographs of the development of aviation in the Canaries, including one of a Spanish policeman wearing one of those hats with a wing on the back that was bigger than the one on Schumachers Ferrari. They have one of the old movements logs in the control tower and it was sad to see reference to so many British companies that have long gone, including BCal and Air Europe.
It’s open from 1000 to 1400 Tuesday to Sunday and if you check in early is just about within walking distance from the new terminal. And it’s free!
