I see RAF Tangmere’s station sign has been listed again on eBay, although more reasonably priced this time.

LOL!
pikies would use it as a window cover in their ‘trailer trash’ caravans!

Is it too early to mention the pikies?

It is a nice sign….sure it is quite new, but in the 1970s there were some pretty exciting and historic aircraft flying for the RAF and at Tangers….
I’ll give your Debden sign a home old fruit!!

Hi gang!
tells yah what – give me a sheet of blank aluminium, a nice selection of airfix/humbrol paints n brushes, a colour postcard of the station crest (kings crown or queens crown – i really don’t mind which), £50.00…….and i’ll knock one out for yers all!!

Reminds me of the station sign i nicked from RAF Debden years back – wasn’t worth diddly squat, even the binmen didn’t want it!!

I had a quick look on Ebay, if anyone wants to spend that sort of money on at 1970’s sign then the best of luck to the seller and buyer!
Not for me.
Regards To All!
