I have found a type plate of a Wellington crash site near Kiel
(the marking is hardly to read, no picture possible):

VICKER ARMSTRONGS LTD
SERIAL NO. 61424 DATE: BQ3 or BO3
DRG NO. 28503 808 ISSUE: AF
INSPT: (two oval stamps with V182)

Now my questions:

1. On what kind of item was this type plate fixed ?
2. What is it for a code for the date “BQ3” or “BO3” ?
3. What is it for a code for the issue “AF” ?
