Hello all!
I have created an aviation museum/site locator page for my website. You can find it…
http://www.aerialvisuals.ca/MuseumLocator.html
I am looking for people to submit information about their local museums or aviation sites. The idea of this page is not to provide you with all the information you need to know about the place you could visit (Google is good for that and I don’t want spend time duplicating the good results you can get from that tool), but rather to provide simple regional lists so that when you are visiting an area you can look-up what will be of interest to you aviation wise. The majority of these entries I expect will be museums, planes on poles in parks, etc. The key to this list will be the coordinates that would allow a user to go right to the front door of a museum or to the spot where a plane could be found in the park. Eventually I would like to be able to link these coordinates into Google Maps (or a similar tool) so someone can click the link and obtain a map they could print out to get directions
If you have some aviation sites you would like included on the list the information I am looking for
to make an entry is…
Country
Province / State / Region
City
Coordinates (example 44 18 06.99 N 77 47 27.37 W)
Short Description – 1 or 2 sentences – may be as simple as “F-86 on a pole in a park.”
If you have any comments or entry informatoin you can share, please send it to…
