Jan et al,

As SE-CEA is still standing on its legs, my candidate is another one: 1945 Proctor Mk.V SE-API, c/n Ae.1(a), which was scrapped and burnt at Gothenburgh/Torslanda in 1963.

One candidate is possibly Proctor IV SE-CEA, p/i RM169 and G-ANVY. After being withdrawn from use, SE-CEA was fitted with floats and operated as a sea-bound taxi between the islands off Gothenburg.

Aha – the wonders of the Flypast forum, found in Sweden, built in Britain, identified by an Aussie and a Brit and a pic of an NZ based but former Aussie Proctor!!!

Cheers Mark

smiles,

TT I think you will find this is the aircraft that is about to fly in NZ that DragonFlyDH90 was chasing “Proctor 1 pilots notes” for, it is a former Australian Proctor with an early Vega Gull flat sloping windscreen fitted, and has been under restoration to fly in NZ.

David is correct,

They are clearly Percival Proctor main undercarriage legs.

Hi TT,

The u/c legs are marked AEU, which Pär believes to be a British company. I received the same photo a few days ago, but I can’t identify the aircraft type.

Jan
