I just saw a promo for a documentary “The Boys of Kalvin High, Canadians in Bomber Command” to be shown on our public TV station on Saturday.
It seems the producer/host found out 50 of his high school class mates were killed on BC ops in the war.
Has anyone seen the program?
BTW: The station just broadcast the 2002 film about the remaining B-17s and a couple of weeks ago the showed the English film, “The Bomber Boys”…which I missed most of.

Sorry, no mention of him. There was a segment on the mission which noted that 12 Number 6 Group (Canadian) aircraft were lost on the raid.

Are you going to be watching this JB? If you do could you please keep an eye/ear out for a F/O O’Leary, originally from Ottawa and pilot of a 619 Squadron Lanc lost at Peenemunde on the night of 17/18 August 1943. My Uncle was his rear gunner! I’d be interested to hear of any such reference. cheers Don
