Sergeant James Titterington

A friend of mine has asked me to find out about the above airman.

All I have been sent is the following line:

1796161,1658 C.U.,Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve,he died aged 23 between 23rd November 1943 and 24th November 1943.

I have checked the CWGC website and found the site of the grave in Belfast and I was wondering if anyone has any records of any aircraft lost that date?

Being out in Wales for a while I haven’t got chance to get to the archives for a little while.

Any information would be gratefully appreciated.
