Mosquito bits at Coltishall?

There appears to have been a ‘dig’ at RAF Coltishall outside the current perimeter fence.Looks like the remains of a spar from a Mosquito mainplane,an undercarriage oleo assembly,an engine mounting frame-all badly corroded and numerous pieces of wood. There is a small piece of skin on the spar of plywood construction, some Bowden cable remains and lots of wood.
Appears to be a dump rather than a crash site as there is other non-aircraft debris there. The locals say that it is on the site of what used to be a wartime dispersal.
Any ideas?

Mosquito Parts Found

Buried remains have been located using Ground Penetrating Radar, Aerial photography, local rumours and industrial metal detectors. The full story will appear in Aeroplane Monthly magazine soon. GeoFizz Ltd www.geofizz.co.uk

The considerable number of ‘Fishtail’ Merlin exhaust stacks I was asked to confirm as Spitfire, by my judgement were from Avro Lincolns.

Interestingly, the late Paul Coggan related a story to me a few years ago of wooden remains of a Mosquito spa at RAF Coltishall, on the edge of the airfield. Maybe the same…? Mudmover, are ther any contact details, or photos of the remains that you could pm me?

Thanks in advance.
