Noorduyn Norseman Cabin…..

Hello again!

I’m looking for some info/pics on how the cabins were configured in USAAF Norseman’s.

I’m trying to make the 1/48th Modelcraft Norseman, and I’d like to model the internal tubing framework, but allot of the civil versions had walled interiors, so I’d like to see if the USAAF version wasn’t a bit more ‘utilitarian’!!

I’ve flown in a number of Canadian Norsemen and did take some photos to prove the occasions, so will have a little look through what I have (when I find them) and report back.

I have some images of the structural frame, so I can do that bit, what I was wondering is whether the cabin shown here and here would be simlar for USAAF service aircraft…..

Try to make contact with the aviodrome at Lelystad they are restoring one to flying condition. They might be ablt to help you.
