Slightly off topic, does anyone remember in the 70’s the Navy had a ‘Canal’ fleet, with several narrow boats mocked up to look like warships, which toured the inland waterways for recruiting purposes?

Thought they looked more like grey GR.3’s to me.

How very sad that these were used as ‘recruitment’ aids and now what do we have?

You’re right, well worth a look, maybe the Navy should keep these in case there are any more defence cuts. You should have emphasised that these are for sale! 😀
