Just a reminder about the Apres Legends raffle on Saturday evening at the Red Lion Whittlesford, I’m still looking for prizes to add to the list that I have already as follow:-
Legends 2004 DvD;
Waddington 2004 DvD;
Spitfire Flying Legend Book;
Hurricane Combat, signed by the author Wing Commander Ken Mackenzie;
Bottle of Single Malt Whiskey (Age to be determined);
Copy of Bee’s Beaumont’s flying log, (Hopefully signed by a number of his 609 Colleagues)
I will update the list going forward as more prizes are hopefully added.
It will soon be 12 months since many of us lost our friend and fellow forumite Steve Young, in his memory all monies raised from this raffle will go to one of his favoured beneficiaries, the Grace Spitifre.

Another great item added today
1:48 kit of P38 Glacier Girl the only P38 likely to be flying at DX this weekend, unless this is the secret everyone is talking about.
I will be without email or interweb access as from tonight. If anyone who’s not going to be around on Saturday evening would like tickets can they get a message to me via Snapper or Robbo, and I will put tickets and prizes to one side pending payment received.

An autographed copy of his book, “Encounter with Tiber” signed by Apollo 11 astronaut Buzz Aldrin.
A “Rare Bear” team cap from the Reno Air Races direct from the Unlimited Gold Campion, John Penney.
A silver commemorative coin for the 2005 Reno Air Races, given only to the race pilots.
A “Southern Cross” blue team cap from the Reno air races. These caps were made special for the races, and have “Race 71” on the side.
A “Southern Cross” team t-shirt from the Reno Air Races. these were only for team members, and were made in blue to keep them from showing dirt and oil stains. size XL.
