Hawker Fury K7271(replica)

Hi,

Does anyone have any details of the Hawker Fury replica, K7271, that is owned by the Wartime Aircraft Recovery Group?

I’m looking for 1-2 photos of it for a publication I am working on.

Regards,

Alex

Further information on the Fury it was built in a garage in Wolverhampton and went on display at Cosford around 1980 I think.

Thanks Alex – looking at the Fury in the background of one of their pics, it certainly looks like the ex-Cosford one. Wrecks & Relics ought to confirm this. I may have a photo or two of it at Cosford – will try & check for you soon.

Hi,

I don’t know. I found it through this link.

http://www.homestead.com/wargroup/events.html

I tried to email them but never received any reply.

Is it the privately-owned one that used to be displayed at Cosford some years ago?
