Workers Weekend

Hello,

Just reading a book about Broughton (the Welsh aircraft factory). The book’s title is ‘Broughton, from Wellington to Airbus’.

In the book a film is mentioned (‘Workers Weekend- A tribute to the Workers of the British Aircraft Industry’).

They assemble a Wellington in just over 24 hours.

You might have seen it before.

I just hapened to be on the website of the National Archives in Kew (previously Public Records Office).

The same factory is still in use today, building wings for the Scarebus.
