A post in another thread has reminded me that next year marks the centenary of Sopwith’s factory, which evolved into Hawker where it remained until 20 years ago.

I remember at being fortunate to being shown around the factory in about 86 or 87 when GR’s and AV8’s were being made side by side.
Unfortunately I was not permitted to take any photos, bah spoilsports!
