Folks-
These were some air to airs that me and my partner Denise shot for our recent article in ‘Warbird Digest’ that did’nt get used….we shot them over Chatfield Reservoir in Sept. 2004 using a Beech Bonanza as the camera plane….the P-51 ‘Crusader’ is owned by Denver lawyer Joe Thibodeau, the T-6’s by Dick Jones and Jack Cronyn…all are based out of Centennial airport in south Denver…it was a fun if somewhat bumpy flight that day (as you can see the thunderheads were building over the foothills and mountains) and along the way we had hoped to be joined by Jack Wilhite and his MiG 17 but that plan never came to fruition….anyway, hope you folks like them…
