Can anyone tell me if there was a B & W movie made where the story followed the lines of the attack on taranto harbour swordfish vs battleships (not sink the bismarck), as i remember a watching a film donkey’s years ago which followed the same lines but i don’t know the title?, a friend of mine also remembers a film with swordfish attacking a harbour but he does not know the title either.
I have looked on a certain large movie website but it does not really list anything?
Does anyone know?

If you look on imdb, then you could be right, limited info, but some interesting people in the cast, including Michael Wilding, Michael Rennie and Ann Todd.
What are you doing on here Ollie, you should be staking out your position on the damp and miserable OW flightline, what a horrible day for such a classic event and special ceremony, what a bloody shame.
The weather did hold for us. The sun even came out at the end. Superb flying all around. Thank you to skyraider3d for the lift.

Im sure i have seen a similler film on tv, but the name escapes me.
Is it the one where the guy takes out a dam with a Fulmar (could be a Suka, but I’m pretty sure the aircraft model is of a Fulmar )? If it is then its ‘Ships with Wings’, Your typical 1942 British war propaganda film, which apparently had a lot of film in it taken on the Ark Royal before she was sunk.
