Anyone know Graham Pitchfork?

I’m interested in something in one of Graham’s articles in Flypast recently, and was wondering whether anyone on the forum was in touch with him? If so could they PM me please; as I’d like to get in touch. If you do so and I don’t reply immediately it may be that I’m struggling with email, as I shall be on a 56k connection for a few days.

Thanks in advance,

Adrian

Station Commander when I was there as well. Every one I know up there still refers to it as Finningley.

I knew the name was familiar but couldn’t think from where. I was stationed there in ’88 for AAITC and Loadie Groundschool.
I took part in a 45 min Presentation to him at the end of our AAITC course on the history & Development of the Meteor, his pet subject, so we had to get our facts right….. 😮

Ask him if he remembers Bill Purvis his Flying Instructor in the early days 🙂

Used to play pool in Tadley, God Help Us… Once got moved up the team order because our captain heard one of the Fox & Hounds team threaten to punch someone and he figured he’d better play him instead of me!

Adrian

It’s not much better now!! Still not here much longer, moving back to West Berkshire in the not to distant future.

He was my Station Commander at RAF Finningley (now Doncaster Robin Hood Sheffield katmandu airport or something) back in 1987.
