while watching Real TV…

.. they showed some footage from an american airshow where what seemed to be a Corsair catched fire while performing in the air. U can well see a flame streakin from the bottom of the naca until the pilots climbs to safety and bales out ok, with the poor plane falling and blowin up in a big ball of fire, well away from the audience. The TV show didnt give much details about the accident, focusing on the “spectacular images”, but I wonder if u remember of this accident and have details about it.
