I have just created a photo album to feature the aircraft of Vintage Wings of Canada (Michael Potter).
You can find it at…

You will also be able to find it listed on my “Feature” albums page…

The emphasis has been on the Spitfire restoration and the Hurricane has been taking a back seat for a while. Its nice to hear that its still on track.

Despite the many changes going on Mike Potter is still committed to preservation and restoration. The Willy McKnight Hurricane is progressing slowly but Mike has indicated he is committed to it going ahead, along with the Y2K Spitfire, and the Swordfish cylinders.
Interesting comments – what is the back-story to this?

I thought I read that you did some air-to-air shots. With Potter’s collection?
If you go to…

…you will find one A2A shot that Warbird Digest did not use. I am holding off on posting the other A2A shots for a while.

Will the new hanger be open to the public?
They will open for prearranged group tours, but they are not open to the general public. They do plan to publicize when they will be flying, so if you happen to be in the area to can stop by and watch their flight ops from the fence, otherwise they are going to try and attend as many airshows as possible.
They also hope to have the Hurricane flying this summer, but you may only get to see it during one of their home base flying days. They indicated they want to build proficiency in their pilots on the Hurri before they start going to air shows with it.
