A London based property auctioneer will shortly be disposing of the control tower at Ludham ,near Norwich.
Planning permission has been granted to convert to holiday accommodation.
It would seem that this building has good prospects for ongoing survival especially when compared to its delapidated state a decade ago.

😉 If I bought it, I would just have a hell of lot of holidays. Long ones too.

Had a look at Ludham tower yesterday; as Bruce says, not as good as it looks in the glossy brochure, and with a price tag of £100k not exactly a bargain as its only got pp for holiday use.

Forgive my ignorance, but how can a tower restored & opened as a museum, be allowed to fall back into disrepair ?
Whats the story behind its demise ? Did the landowner sell out for a quick buck to a property developer, or…..?
Some old threads on the subject shed no light…..
