I have read a bit about the “Wild Goose” and “Swallow” variable geometry projects from the 1950s, but there is very little detail. In particular I have never seen a picture or drawing of the “Wild Goose”, and only some very small pictures of presentation models of the “Swallow”.
From what I have gathered, there were flying models of each design, and the projects eventually were abandoned by the British government of the day, but after that, nothing.
Anyone have any more detailed information about these projects?
