All,
The below instrument was found in a box of random instruments we bought in a warehouse clearout. Its American, cable operated, and has a 12v light, which worked briefly!
By my reckoning its early – 1930’s at a guess, as most flap indicators would have been electrical by the start of WW2.
We have other American stuff, but that is simpler, as it is things like boost gauges and tachos. We even have a fuel gauge that tells us it is from a Brewster Bermuda!
I digress, If you have any idea, then let me know. It’ll probably go on Ebay, but it would be nice to know what it was!

lol – I believe the RAF had three and they were pretty dreadful, so that instrument must be pretty rare!

Bruce, if Spitfires are anything to go by you have the basis of the world’s only flying Brewster Bermuda there! :diablo:

Hi Bruce
Your best bet with anything american is to try the WIX site – i’m sure someone there will be able to give you an idea what it was used on.
