Ejection Seat Info

After dusting down my Martin Baker Mk2.D seat I realised that this is a restoration project in its own right !

Problem here is that I know diddly about ejection seats other than they go *BANG* and fire helpless pilots into the big blue stuff.

I’ve a parts manual for a Mk2.H but does anyone have any info for the Mk2.D ‘Nut-Cracker’ seat ? I’ve checked Smiths for a “Dummies Guide to Ejector Seats” but they’re out of stock.
