anybody have any idea of what progress has been made on the p40b being restored stateside? i would imagine they are doing it in chino with steve hinton but can anybody confirm this? i was also wondering what has happened to the gulfhawk that was supposedly under restoration there as well, or was someone adding to the ‘rumour mill’ when this surfaced a year or so ago?
only a few weeks now and those two crates should be turning up at duxford. in the words of a fat, balding slob of a man, hmmmmmmmmmm………………….. 😎

P40b here http://www.warbirdphotos.net/aviapix/Fighters/P40/p40b.jpg
And I guess your ‘normal’ P40 would look like this

Biggest visible difference to me would be the size of the air intake under the engine
