Halifax C.VIII PP263-> G-AJPJ

This aircraft has crash landed in Israel in 21 July 1948 while transfering arms and aircraft engines to Io the IAF.
I need details on its RAF career and on its civil operators after the war.

This Halifax was built too late to see RAF service. She was built out of a batch of (PP259 – PP296) between 31/4/45 and 1/6/45.

My Halifax file says she went to Chartair Ltd. as G-AJPJ 4/11/46 and
then to BAAS. Finally she went to MayfairAir Services. It was flown to Israel in 1948.
