Duxford morning (Thu 23rd March) with Canon's new 30D

Whilst I have the New Canon 30D on test, I thought I would give it a whirl at some aviation. It was a nice suprise to get the T-33 and F-86 as “models” for the morning so here’s a couple of shots. The Grace Spitfire was also up and about.

Rich,

I do camera reviews as part of my job, hence the 30D trial. The 20D with give you the same image quality, and will save you a lot of money. The D200 has an excellent build and a higher resolution than the 20/30D’s but I have found the picture quality to be better on the Canon’s.

I am happy to give you more information, but we should continue such conversations on the photo forum. 🙂

-I have no lenses so Im not restricted!!

sorry should be asking this on the photo section

Hi Mike,

Much the same as the 20D but the bigger screen is nice, as you can see a lot more detail in the image. The increased shutter life is clearly an advantage over the 20D, but not something I will be testing. The weather is good today, but it was VERY windy, and cold!
