Hello all and SPEY111,
just to say that the Lightning nose XS932 at FAST is going to stay there for the time being … ultimately im looking to move it up to the new museum at Walney Aviation Heritage Trust once it is in a state to receive it …. buiding of the site hasnt even started yet …SO, i anticipate it remaining where it is for this season at least kind courtesy of the Director of FAST Ltd…. Are the noses gone for refurbishment then?
It is getting rather crowded outside now. Maybe they do need to thin out the collection and concentrate on RAE/DRA/DERA related exhibits.

At about 1400 today the Buccaneer nose was loaded on a lorry outside the gate.
It will be coming back.

At about 1400 today the Buccaneer nose was loaded on a lorry outside the gate. The Lightning nose and blue Hunter nose had moved round the corner. I understand the Lightning nose is also due to depart from the museum.
