What is happening in the UK on the Typhoon front (the Hawker version that is, not the new hairdryer). I know that there are collections of parts around but are there plans to reconstruct one (apart from Roger Marley’s project).

I mean an airframe to full specifications. Has the Tempest fuselage appeared again?

Cheers

Certainly looks Typhoon…and yes they are big!!! It could well be a recovered item but more likely that it was replaced on the landing ground because of damage received and left (like the tail plane that was once at shoreham that was found in a hedge in France that bordered one of the landing grounds) or recovered from a scrap yard. There are better, more complete, ones around for the money being asked for this but it is just a question of how much you want it!!

Blimey,

I knew the Typhoon was a big airframe – but an Elevator ???? 😮

I thought it had a built-in step ? 😀

I’ll get my coat ……….. :diablo:

Can anyone confirm the provenance of this item? Is it a battlefield recovery or a scrapyard find?
