Today’s Daily Telegraph carries an obituary for JOHN SQUIER who passed away on the 30th January.
John served with No 64 squadron during the Battle of Britain, and as a test pilot with English Electric, he was the first British pilot to eject at supersonic speed when his Lightning broke up in the air in 1959.
