Morris Light Reconnaissance Car

Okay, bit of an unusual question for this forum, but does anyone have any photos of the Morris Light Reconnaissance Car? Theres one at Duxford in the Land Warfare Hall, now in green but it used to be in one of the hangars in brown/black. Reason i’m asking is that I am finally updating, after several years, my website about the Morris Light Recce Car, and thought maybe any of you that had visited Duxford (or any of you that have seen others such as at the Tank Museum) might have a photo of one that I could sue on the site, which i’d give credit for.

The address for the website is http://www.geocities.com/britsatwar/morris_recce_car.html

Oh, and they were used by the RAF Regiment as well as the Army, so I guess there it is historic aviation related after all 😉

Cheers, I know of the 43rd Wessex Recce lot, I was in contact with Ian West a few years ago (e-mails to him just bounce back now though), and i’ve got the address of the other guy who owned two, but who left the hobby and gave one as a gate guardian to a nearby museum. Do you know any contact details for the one in Suffolk?

Cheers, Rob

Hmmmm……I used to play with a few of those at the weekends a few years ago. I know of 2 (maybe 3) in private hands and one of them is being slowly rebuilt in Suffolk.

Maybe worth contacting 43rd Recce LHG.
