Aircraft of RAF Coltishall

 HELP!!!!

Last year I did a number of computer generated aircraft profiles for a poster of aircraft that have been based at RAF Coltishall (the Hurricane and the Jag are from the poster) and I’d like to do a few pages of the more famous aircraft (ie flown by the better known pilots in the RAF who have been based at Coltishall) plus revisions for some aircraft on the poster that I could find no pictures for the last issue of the Station’s Magazine (Please do not reply ‘Ask Mick Jennings’ as he has been my main sourse of Info on this project and I need info he has not got). The main problem is that I’ve got a week to finnish the work and I can not get to Kew or Hendon to check references on the few items I still wish to do. Does anybody have info (the colour scheme or markings) or photos (port side) of the following.

Spitfire IIA P7373 ZP-A 74 Sqn (Sailor Malan) when it was at Coltishall in 1940
Spitfire V EP126 HP-B (Wg Cdr ‘Cowboy’ Blatchford) May 1943
Spitfire XVI SM388 LO-U 602 Sqn AuxAF (Flt Lt Raymond Baxter) Early 1945
Beuafighter VIf 141 Sqn (as Flown by Wg Cdr ‘Bob’ Braham on the night of 29th September 1943 when he shot down a ME-110 and overtook John Cunningham as leading ‘Night Ace’. Braham launched from and landed at Coltishall on this sortie).
Coltishall Station Flight Magisters (1940) or Oxfords (mid 1940’s).
Hawker Henley of 1489 TT Flight (late 1941 – early 1942)
Fairey Firefly NF1 of 746 NAS, late 1944
Defiant Mk 2 of 515 Sqn (need information on Mandrel Aerial fit)
Blenheim VIf Z5722 – 68 Sqn (was it still WM-Z when it crashed at Coltishall in 1942)
Swordfishs or Albarcores of 841 NAS Det 3 at Coltishall in early 1943
Any side views of any 278 Squadron aircraft from 1941 to April 1944

Any help on any of these requests will be very gratefully received.

If you would like the a copy of the poster contact Mick Jennings the CRO at Coltishall, His contact details are on the RAF Coltishall Web Site.
