Does anyone know what progress is being made on robs lamplough’s p-51 miss helen? i was going to ressurect an old thread, but after reading through it i decided against it. can anyone confirm what damage there was and what progress has been made on it, and if we can expect her to participate in the 2006 airshow season.

I remember reading in one of the earliest FlyPasts that during the rebuild the wing was replaced with an ex-Dutch wing obtained from the Technical University at Delft Holland. Can anyone confirm this?
If so what happened to the original wings the airframe came with from Israel?
Cheers
Cees
That was indeed the case and as I understand it the original Israeli wing was sold in the US, rebuilt and incorporated into a racing Mustang
