Jaeger cockpit clock question

Hello friends

Does anybody know, if the Jaeger clock Mk IIIB 6A/839 with the 24 hours dial was also used in fighters like Spitfire/Hurricane?
I wonder, because I´ve only seen the 12 hours dial at pictures yet.
