More Aviation Art – New Work

To add the previous thread on this topic thougth i would refresh the topic and add some new work .This one is a 100th BG 17 Lost on Feb 4th 44 – I did it for the Tail Gunners Daughter who lives in Tupelo Mississipi .Leroy Leist Caldwell was KIA with his crew – very sad -hopefully a recovery operation can begin on this plane which lies in a shallow area of sea off Holland .

Just finished this one of a Mustang currently being rebuilt in Norfolk , – hadn’t quite finished it to my satisfaction but took it to our local Aviation Artists meeting last night (Manchester) ,will be great to see it up in the air

Thanks Paul – superb sketch – that pic has a lot of movement in it . I Liked Robert Karrs work too -very good and he won an award with the FW190

For all artists – have a look at www.aviart.info – most interesting design tool to help with drawing – fascinating stuff .I am currently building a B17

Very nice indeed. Hope you don’t mind my adding a couple here of some work by a good mate, Robert Karr. For a Californian, he’s got a pretty good handle on what makes a BE-2 tick! (www.karrart.com)

Very nice work mate, like the colours
I’ll add some new stuff to just to add some more interest, this was inspired after reading a book following the flying and sailing adventures of Sir Francis Chicester
