That Darwin museum is indeed an interesting place.

I called in there a couple of years ago. Unfortunately, after I had spent the morning on the Darwin WW2 minibus tour (also a worthwhile exercise), my camera battery died on me. As a desperate measure I bought one of those elcheapo one-time use Kodak disposable cameras.
As a result I now have some of the worst photographs of museum aircraft ever taken.
They were so bad that the Kodak shop refused to charge me for processing them.

If you are planning to visit the museum during your stay in Darwin, arrange transport as the place is quite a way out of town.
