The site isnt entirely correct – the Comet beat the 707 into service – just. The first transatlantic jet service was by G-APDB – now preserved at Duxford.

haha mate u read my mind there ive been looking at that too hehe is a damn shame she was retired beacause of her structure then her come back just didn’t work cos the boeing 707 was huge and much better
