One of ours saw it in the field and got a picture from the air, but haven’t seen it, they were very lucky, Hucknall is a pretty well built up area around it.

We had a none Historic 152 doing practice circuits and bumps go wide in the circuit there, the instructor asked him where he would force land, he seeing there was nowhere on the next circuit kept it tight and lo and behold the carb failed, the instructor took over and managed to get it back on the field, she did a damn good job, running it on the ground it would tickover and any attempt to take it above that it died, carb swap with another and it was fine. I MOR’ed it, but the engine was pulled as it had under 10 hours remaining and was shipped back to Lycoming with letter attached about the Carb subject to a report…. Never heard anything back from it or the MOR.
