Phantom XV408 Saved

It is good to see in this months Flypast that Phantom XV408 has been saved from the axe. Does anyone know if it will be under cover at Tangmere?
Why did it not go to Cosfords new Cold War Museum? After all, this classic cold war aircraft flew on the last battle flight scramble at Wildenrath along with the other blue Phantom XT899. (just a thought)
That said, well done to Tangmere, many museums have tried for years to get a Phantom.

The RAF Museum has a Phantom at Hendon, they wouldn’t want another one, if they were going to put one in the Cold War museum they would have swapped it with something from Cosford.

XV424 which has been undercover since it was retired, and its the Alcock and Brown anniversary a/c.
