Seeking operational Supermarine Attacker pics

I’m banging away on a Classic Airframes Attacker kit right now, and it seems that all my online digging has turned up the same tired pics time after time. I’ve got a killer walkaround series on the aircraft at Yeovilton, but I’m hoping someone here might have some good pics of this tubby little beast in FAA service.

Thanks much for any help, guys!

Lynn

It could’ve been the Sheppard’s Swift, but on a farm not too far away there’s also a private collection that includes a Hawker SeaHawk-a straight wing jet fighter in Navy colours that might be mistaken for an Attacker.

Much more likely to have been the Swift at Upper Hill – there is only one Attacker left, and it’s at Yeovilton.

Unless the rumours of one or two in Pakistan are true…

thanks for that, i was thinking after i wrote it was it a swift or an attacker…..looks like it was the swift.

slightly off topic…….back in the late 80’s i had a back seat jolly in a tornado, and on our way back from wales after a bit of low level, and buzzing of my parents home, the pilot pointed out an attacker in a back garden in the midlands. it was quite near a low level flying corridor, and most of the pilots used it as a landmark.

it definately wasn’t a museum, and i was just wondering if anyone had any info on it.

Attacker

I have three good original photos of WA 535 + about two tons of the aircraft! They are from three different angles on the ground & show pretty good detail – PM me your email if you want scans & I will see if I can persuade my scanner to work!
