I was slightly stumped by the fact i could not see the 2 outboard props but then i could not find anything with twin booms and a single mid mounted engine.

…hummm, aeroplane on fire ditches in sea at speed.

Now, i wonder where those props (and starboard engine) could be ? :diablo:

A link to a three-view of the BV 138: http://www.feldgrau.com/bv138.htm

And, a link to two photos of the sole preserved BV 138: http://www.preservedaxisaircraft.com/Luftwaffe/blohmvoss/blohmvoss.htm

If anyone can put a date on this loss, you’d probably be able to find more here: http://www.luftwaffe.no/SIG/Losses/Losses.html

I guess a bv 138 but i cannot see the props from the outboard engines. I cannot find anything else it could be so my guess is on the Bhlohm and voss bv138.
