Can anyone tell me the IDs of the two Mustangs that took part in the tank-strafing scene at the end of the film? One of them I’m pretty sure was the then-OFMC Mustang G-HAEC, but the other….?
I think it was a European-based aircraft, but which one it was I’m not sure. Something keeps telling me “Scandinavian Historic Flight”, but I’m doubtful.
I had a look on the IMDB, and Ray and Mark Hanna are listed as the “stunt pilots”, so presumably they both flew the ’51s.
Also, any pics of the Mustangs in their film colours?

By coincidence I put that very plane up as a computer wallpaper just a couple of days ago, minus the invasion stripes though:

Must have been Flying Legends 2002.

Pic of G-HAEC in ‘Private Ryan’ paint, the other P-51 was SHF’s N167F, somewhere I have a pic showing the front end of N167F in OFMC’s hanger it had its nose chequers painted black and white.
Thanks for that – I had a feeling it was the Scandinavian Mustang, I just wasn’t very sure.
