The one advertised by Didier Chable is not the one flying in France. It is a spare one still in Canada or the US.

Interesting, didn’t know there was a 2nd TBM in France. Well, anyway, I hope the story is true. Wouldn’t mind to see an MLB Avenger in the air.

I can state categorically that the TBM at North Weald will not be going to the Netherlands. 😀

I believe it was one of a batch of Canadian fire bombers – 3 of which are/have come/ing to Australia – doesn’t have bomb bay doors or turret if that the case

Hasn’t flown much because of increased insurance costs(!!!). Now safely tucked away in the back of the hangar for the winter.

Did the North Weald based one fly very much this year??? I can’t recall seeing it out and about anywhere.

Don’t think it is that one, as it is a TBM 3U which was never operated in Holland, so it needs a complete rebuilt then. I was told it came from the USA. But maybe you are right, did they say it went to Holland? BW Roger
