Australian Demon pics

Hi

Here are a few shots which feature the Hawker Demon in RAAF Service as well as the single restored example at RAAFM Point Cook. This is the base to which I will be adding additional info and pics as they come out of the vault in my garage!!

A second restoration – to flying condition – has been undertaken over many years by Jack McDonald here in Queensland and it is still progressing but very slowly at present.

I would love to hear if there any other remains in Australia

All of the pictures were taken over or at Richmond – all the top row are of the restoration of A1-8 undertaken over many years and finally presented in 1988 at the BiCentenial airshow in 1988
