Ah great the newsletters working now. Does anyone know anything about Guiseppe Lombardi? I’ve heard his name before for something else…. can’t remember what though

Short Stirling perhaps?

Hear Hear Pino and Crew need YOUR support!

Yes TT

Anything Stirling related could be of use. Good to see that they are rescueing parts from high ground wrecks. They also have the sections from the RAF Museum on loan for reference. Why not donate it to them as the aim is to display the completed aircraft in a major UK museum, then why not at Hendon (although the height could be a problem).

Gone over their bandwith now so will have to wait to read it – can’t wait though, fantastic project, are they just going for the forward fuselage like the Dutch group of the whole big beauty?

As far as I know they are aiming for a full grown Stirling with the cockpit section as having priority. The cockpit section in our museum is made from wood but is having two newly built pilot seats installed with measurements taken from an original Stirling seat that was found near Arnhem.
