Bomber Command Documentary Film

I’m currently working on a documentary on Bomber Command and need your help in contacting a number of veterans. With the introduction of digital video (DV) and affordable PC based video editing packages, it has never been easier to produce your own professional looking [broadcast quality] films.

In producing a film about Bomber Command I need to interview a number of veterans – local to Hull in East Yorkshire. So far I’ve manage to secure the help of a number of gunners and a flight engineer, who will be interviews (I hope) in the next few weeks.

But, I also need to interview a pilot, navigator, ground engineer and WAAF.

If you know anyone who flew in Bomber Command (especially those who flew the Wellington), then I’d like to hear from you? Interviews will be audio only.

Kind Regards

Phillip Rhodes

Two methods.

1) Post them onto a website. www.photobucket.com is a good, free one. Make sure the end results are less than 200 kb, ideally 72 ppi, and about 800 px x 600 px or less. Then post the link to each image using the little picture of mountains with yellow sky in the menu bar when you are posting.

2) Underneath the ‘Submit reply’ button when you are posting is an option box headed ‘Attach Files’ Simply use the ‘browse’ function to find the suitably sized images on your hard disk and upload them to the Key server.

If all else fails repost on the Photographic advice forum and somebody will explain it better.
