RAAF B-24M restoration

Here’s a few pictures of the B-24 at Werribee a year ago.

That was actually about the first day they had reopened to the public after being closed for a long time due to a building collapse in one of their hangars. Remedying the problem had obviously slowed down the restoration. The intention was (is?) to keep the aircraft at Werribee but in another, bigger, hangar sot he aircraft could be moved outside on occasion. – I can’t remember if it was hoped to use an existing one or build a new one
