A pair of old photos!

Some time ago I found some photos in an envelope which I’ve had for 20 years. They were given to me but I have no info about who or where. Hope they are of interest!

Heres a coincidence, just look at those spinners.

Suspect this is poor old TW117 at Bodo, Norway, dressed up again to be a fighter/bomber, not the trainer she was built as. – Nermal

The marking on the Spitfires was adequate for me to discern that they were indeed in service with the RNoAF. Unless I’m mistaken the twin engined machine is a Mosquito, I didn’t know any served with the Norwegians (assuming of course that the two pics were taken at the same time and place)

Spitfire International.

Ah! Non RAF Spitfires – always of interest.

Referring to my trusty ‘Spitfire International’; A-CB will be NH261, the second aircraft looks like either MK897 or MK997, both of which served with the Norwegians, and the last machine A-AR will be MK839.

Thanks for posting.
