dark light

Flying wing.

Firstly I must state that I have not been drinking or under the influence of drugs.

On Saturday afternoon while travelling down the A10 through the M25 junction, I spotted a large duck egg blue coloured kite looking object flying from Chingford area to the Enfield area.
When I got to the halfway house lights at Southbury road it was now moving quite quickly towards Enfield. ๐Ÿ˜ฎ

Yes you all might be thinking, โ€œheโ€™s mad but the wife saw it too.

Did anyone else see this?

If you can imagine the MS windows picture waving, it looked just like that. I do not know if it was self-propelling or towed by an aircraft.

I have also seen the same over the Hatfield area a couple of weeks ago.

Please, please someone say they saw it too!!!!

On both days it was cloudy and a distance away so a good look was not had.

Where does it come from, one wonders??

Thanks for keeping me sane ๐Ÿ˜‰

Wessex Boy has hit it on the head, I saw this Monday over the City , It is a large weighted flag that carries information about Music and DVD piracy . At first I did not spot the helicopter some way above it, It is a heck of a size though, the weight can be seen hanging down below the flag with the helicopter about 30 to 40 feet above the flag.
Rest easy pimpernel, you are not raving bonkers ๐Ÿ˜€

I saw something similar last week as I left the M25 at Jct23 (A1M) to the SE, I couldn’t take a detailed look (More pressing objects in front…) but it behaved like a weighted flag below a helicopter….except I couldn’t see a whirlybird above it?

That is exactly the discription I could not think of.

Thanks Wessex Boy, at least I was not dreaming. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Could be a Chinese Stirling being flown back to Britain in disguise, where it will hide in a hangar in the Cotswolds until it appears at Legends 2006
