Having recently returned to listening to Australian media, Margaret Throsby is an excellent interviewer, regarded by many as the best thing on ABC and able to draw out the interviewee to a remarkable degree. For older readers, think a friendly Roy Plomley on Desert Island Discs.

I missed the interview the first time round so I don’t know. I reckon anyone who can write as he has in his two published works will probably string some stories together pretty well!
